Our six-week Life Skills Training course is designed to equip care-experienced individuals with the essential skills needed to transition into or maintain independent living. With 12 practical and engaging units, we focus on crucial topics such as budgeting and financial management, securing housing, and maintaining physical and mental health. Participants will also learn key employability skills, time management, cooking, and household management.
We understand the unique challenges faced by those with care experience and provide a supportive environment to build confidence, emotional resilience, and the ability to thrive independently.
Our Life Skills Training course also caters to neurodivergent individuals who may face unique challenges in achieving or maintaining independence. Over six weeks, participants will explore 12 vital units, including communication skills, emotional and social development, self-care, and goal setting.
The course covers practical areas like cooking, cleaning, and time management while offering guidance on maintaining physical and mental health. We provide a compassionate and understanding space where participants can develop the tools and confidence needed to live independently, with a focus on their unique strengths and needs.
